Professional Washington Water Well Services
"Our goal is to be the number one provider of safe & reliable well water systems in the Greater Puget Sound area"
JKA Well Drilling & Pumps is a family run pump & well business located just outside Monroe, Washington. Our company was started in 1989 to provide Washington water well drilling services to our clients through out King and Snohomish counties, and has proceeded through years of continual growth ever since. We can provide you with a full spectrum of water related services in King County, and Snohomish County, and on a more limited basis, we service Kittitas County, Skagit County, Pierce County, Chelan County, & Island County.
The Services We Provide throughout the Puget Sound:
Water Filtration and Conditioning Services in Washington
Did you know that JKA Well Drilling & Pumps also offers water filtration services to our well drilling and well pump customers? We can fix problem waters, including problem silt and sand production, water hardness, low pH and corrosion, mineral build up, iron, manganese, odors, sulfur, and many other contaminants.
We primarily recommend the Clear Reflections Series from Master Water and or Water Right products.
Dual Rotary Drilling
JKA Well Drilling & Pumps is the first north end Puget Sound contractor to provide Dual Rotary drilling technology for traditional 6-IN to 24-IN diameter wells, and the only company in Western Washington able to deliver this technology alongside traditional casing hammer machines working clean water drilling projects. With dual rotary drilling, casing can be advanced successfully and productively through boulders, rocks, cobbles, and caving materials, often without additional project costs.
If you have a difficult drilling project in your future, we have the machine for it!

Hirst Decision and ESB 6091 - Washington State Water Law mostly fixed
In case you hadn't heard, the Hirst decisions was addressed by the legislature this last session. In King & Snohomish counties this means typically that a new house can have up to 950 gallons per day for domestic usage (average usage in Seattle is 325 gallons per day). There will be a $500 fee added to building permits. There is no requirement to install water meters on individual homes at this time.
The bad news - Skagit county is still a mess and was left high and dry with no access to new wells in most of the county.
Wells installed prior to Jan 19th, 2018, are grandfathered in per the old exemptions.
